Progress

It is amazing how much progress you make with five minutes here and there of spinning. Much more than with five minutes of knitting. This is superwash roving from Sakina Needles in Bioluminescence. It is spinning like a dream.
My favourite part of making toys is choosing fabrics. I spent a lot of Saturday doing this until my room was full of piles. There always seems to be piles of aqua and red and pink and orange. I even managed a little cutting and sewing on Sunday.

I bang on about this all the time, mostly on your blog but, if I had the knitting gene I would love to be knitting up some of that! You see I dream of knitting, here in our little sitting room in front of the fire...Please someone, make me understand casting on! I can do the basic knitting bit but I cannot cast on. Oh dear.

And your animals, as always, are gorgeous.

I do the same...playing and matching fabrics for projects until I'm in a complete mess! Just the way I work. Cute elephant but I'm very partial to the giraffe...my very favorite animal.

Wow another wonderful talent you have. The yarn looks beautiful. I love that little giraffe, he is so cute. The elephant looks super in the red too.

Gosh, that has spun up beautifully. What a versatile woman you are!
I have seen your lovely work around the traps, in magazines, online, and so on.I always think, "Oh, excellent, well done", when I see it. You're doing great, I am inspired (but slack, I feel).
