Corduroy Jackets

I managed to finish the jackets for Grace and Milly last night. I am quite happy with how they turned out as I didn't use a pattern and had a few problems fitting the sleeve to the body. The hood is a bit pointier than I thought it would be, but it stays on.
I think it would have been better if I didn't tell them to smile for the camera.

Gosh those are so cute. And the kidlets are soooo sweet in them. Quite frankly, that pattern of jacket done in a beatiful black fabric would be perfect for an adult. Especially if you found an amazing horn button.

Did you really ask them to smile? Looks like you told them a scary story! The jackets are wonderful!(and the girls were probably playing opposites with you - you just didn't know!)

What a brilliantly gifted mum Grace, Milly and Eva have! The coats are great. I just got back from our annual trip home to OZ-Syd,Perth & Brisbane (jet lag anyone?) and finally saw my sis using your bag in person (she loves it). My twin girls are 28mths and I look to you for inspiration.... I still think it will be some time before I can sew in the same room as they are. I have some twin questions... how do your girls handle the issue of whose clothing is whose? Do they have colour preferences...how do you go about deciding who wears what? Do you always make two of a kind?

these are so sweet! (the girls and the jackets!). what pattern did you use? i remember you using a lot of ottobre patterns, was it one of theirs?

also, have you ever tried the ottobre women's clothing, or just the children's? i've been curious about their adult patterns. thanks!
