A Much Better Day

Thankyou to everyone who has left a message on here lately. I really wish blogspot let you reply to your messages. To answer a question few questions a Vanilla Slice is kind of like set custard in pastry and my favourite version has passionfruit on top. There is even a competition to find the best one each year.
And yes my day yesterday wasn't too bad yesterday. It finished with good pizza and that's always a good thing. The girls didn't have too many fights and spent the morning with ice cream containers on their heads holding hands. I decided to not worry about the mess yesterday and by last night the whole floor behind them was covered in toys, washing, tupperware etc.
We had the pram back today and went out for milkshakes and cake and the girls sat on real chairs and behaved like ladies as my Nan would say. We then went to the little sewing shop in town and found the Clover yo-yo makers which I was quite excited about so they had to come home with us.
These were the best pictures I could get of the girls new pants. Little flowers appilqued on the front and pockets on the back.

Love the little pom pom makers. I think mine is the green one, but I have not used it yet. Love the little pants too.

happy mother's day to you kate! no matter when you got to celebrate it, right? so glad you and the little ladies were able to go out for your treats - our girls are really getting into the idea of sitting on "big girl" chairs, even if their chins are at the table's edge. those pants are super - the pockets perfection. and i adore the dancing together. isn't it so great how they are becoming buddies. take care and have a good one!

I'm so glad someone else has problems with replying to comments.
My cousin says she can do it and she is with blogspot.
When I see her in June I will try to find out how.
If I find out, I'll let you know.
It is so frustrating isn't it.
Love all the sewing you've been doing lately, wished I had kids to sew for again.

The icecream containers are just gorgeous, so glad your day improved and that you got your coffee and cake after all. Love the pants too.

love the pants! The mess you left with the toys is typical here at our home each day because I just can't keep up with 4 to 5 little ones needing my attention and the housework.

I totally agree with you about blogger needing to allow us to reply to our comments straight to the folks because I always feel like I'm neglecting the nice folks who make comments on my blog...like yourself, thanks for commenting!

Glad your day wasn't so bad after all. Love the pants, and love the shot of the "ice-cream container waltz" even more!
