Dresses

New dresses for Amelia and Grace for their Uncle's wedding. I have made a few of these dresses this summer. I saw one similar in a picture from a Japanese craft book on a blog or flickr which of course I didn't bookmark and can't find now but it had a gathered section at the bottom so I added one to these dresses. I used Anna Maria Horner voile and it is lovely fabric to touch and the colours are beautiful.

I have started a Two Little Banshees flickr group. If you have made anything from one of my patterns I would love to see it.

Great fabrics and a very pretty dress style. I haven't seen Anna Maria Horner voiles in the UK, must try to hunt some down, they look lovely.

I love your dresses, they look like kimonos, but it looks like you've used western patterned voile - very clever!
I aspire to be as good a seamstress as you, unfortunately my sewing machine has other ideas...!
Thanks.
