Quilt Tops

I have been trying really hard to actually make some of the ideas in my head and not think about them too much. It is all about quilts and quilt designs in my head at the moment. I think it is the cooler night weather (although the days are still weirdly warm). I finished this quilt top. It is quite big and I wasn't able to get a good picture of it all yesterday, but here is some of it.

After I finished I decided to make the same pattern with smaller blocks and it was quite a quick and easy baby quilt project. I'm trying to be organised - so many babies are due in the next six months.
Another quilt made from a jelly roll. This pattern used the whole thing. Here is a quarter of it.

Now to get inspired to baste, quilt and write the patterns up.

Beautiful! I need to make a baby quilt for my friend and if she is having a girl a flower quilt like your first two in this post might just be what I end up making.

They are all beautiful. How clever you are. I didnt realise those jelly rolls went so far, I bought one for my sister for xmas and she loved it. Perhaps I will need to try that out one day.

Kate, these are really nice quilts! Your colors are so happy, a wonderful addition to any home. I'll have to see about precut fabrics, you work so fast!

Cute!!! You're definitely inspiring me to get on with the pattern writing for some projects I've made. That is not a fun task! Still getting the pattern covers worked out. Artistic daughter is designing them for me.

Oh! I do hope you're going to publish the pattern for the Wonderland and Baby quilt. So "simple" but it really is a delight to the eye!

You just whipped them up in your spare time? Far out, impressive!! I really think people who patchwork are amazing. It's such a beautiful craft. Your quilts are so pretty and a little bit different, which is great.
