Very sorry to hear about your nan -the photos of her are so lovely. It must be hard to take in the happy and sad news so close together.
Sorry to hear of your loss. We lost my Mama within 3 days of my twin nephews birth, and it was ... strange. But kind of consoling too. Thinking of you, anyway.

I'm so sorry for your loss Kate, she looks a lovely lady.Is that one of the twins or your new bubby?Gorgeous photo
so sorry kate. she does look like a beautiful and wonderful lady. life is funny that way, and i think it just reinforces the idea that life is a cycle, with births and deaths coinciding and replacing each other. sending love and good thoughts (and congrats on a new niece!)
Your Noma was truly beautiful.
I'm sure you have many cherished memories. Sorry for your loss and wishing you well.Cindy

I'm so sorry for your loss. Birth and death (especially so close together) always remind me of how crazy life is and how amazing it is.
so sorry for your loss. but i know what you mean about there sometimes being a flip side to sad things. i was with my grandma when she died, until then, i'd kind of decided i didn't want children, and at that point, i changed my mind. and i'm so glad i did, i see my son and daughter as gifts from her : )
So sorry for your loss Kate. Like the other comments she was a very beautiful woman. We have a saying in my family, He closes a door, and opens a window, I found out I was pregnant with my son the day my Nanna passed. But too, congrats Aunty Kate, Emmaline is a gorgeous name!
So sorry to hear about the loss of your nan. One angel passes to make way for another to arrive. Your niece's name is lovely too. I hope the little girls grow up knowing all about her and how wonderful she was to you too.
It's so difficult to experience two opposite emotions at the same time - profound sadness and grief at the loss of a loved one, and joy at a new arrival. May you find some comfort in the joy of knowing this new little soul.
She looks like a happy lady who enjoyed life - just making way for a new one. Glad to hear about your sister, sorry for your loss.
