Red Whirligig Shrug

The Whirligig Shrug I made Olive when I was pregnant is perfect for the in between weather at the moment. I love this pattern for babies. It is quick and easy to knit and the arms are easy to fit tiny baby arms and fingers through.
I thought I had better knit another one in the next size up for when she grows out of it. I used the same yarn - Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK - in red which is really quite difficult to photograph, but it is a really lovely red.

 More details on ravelry.

Olive looks adorable in her whirligig shrug. I love the red one too.

Just look at that little face! She obviously loves a good hand knit - good on you for getting her started early! It's great when you can recreate loved clothing for babies in the next size up - love the red one!

Wow - she is gorgeous. And I love the shrug. I wish the pattern came in a little bit bigger size and I would make it for my little girl.

Olive is growing up so beautifully! I tried to photograph red today too and found it very difficult. The little red shrug is lovely.
