Granny Square Scarf

I think I could become addicted to crochet - much faster than knitting. This scarf was done so much faster than it would take me to knit one this length. There are 10 granny squares using this pattern. I joined them like this. Then I edged it with a picot edging. The yarn was Moda Vera 8 ply wool in 8 different colours.

Oh my I want one. Cute. Maybe I'll get back to learning to crochet, again, soon. Post is up on my blog about how to switch to a dot com. Hope it helps.

So cute! Been thinking of doing one of these! It's easier to get hooked on crochet than knitting because it doesn't take nearly as long to see finished results.

What a lovely scarf! The colors are so beautiful, Eva seems to like it. Thank you for the bright note on this rainy day, and the inspiration for a new scarf.

Why is crochet faster (I also believe this to be true)?. Is it the gappiness of the fabric? I generally prefer knitting, and am actively blocking a child from seeing the this post, lest the nagging for a crocheted scarf like the one on the internet, begin.

oh that's so cute. I like the edging, I shouldn't be looking at edging, I'm no wear near edging, aahhh.
