Quilts

It has all been about quilts lately.
A new quilt called Through The Square Window. The fabric is Blush by Basic Grey for Moda.

A Walk in The Garden using Verna by Kate Spain for Moda.
I made a new quilt from my Desert Twirl pattern. The fabric is Happy Campers by American Jane for Moda.
It has suddenl become winter here and everyone including me is in need of new clothes. So clothe sewing is next on the list.

I'm amazed at how fast you whip those quilts up. I never try 'cos I think it's gonna take me four years to finish one. And same-same on the winter story (tho probably not quite as drastic as you down there.) Nice to drag out the doonah's though.

Love the quilts Kate, and I'm back to a wheat pack on my toes at night to keep me warm.

Seriously lovely quilts. I hope they will become patterns soon. Thanks so much for the book recommendation. I finished "One and the Same" this week. It was a good read, even if a little American in parts. It got me thinking about how I will try to carve out some special time for each of the twins on a regular basis. Cheers.

I love the 'Through the Window' one, it's really unusual. It must take you ages to do these, althoug it's well worth it!
