Quilting with Aurifil

My free motion quilting experiment quilt is finished. This was great fun to do and I learnt a lot.
It was my first time quilting with Aurifil and I am a convert! It took only a little adjustment on my machine - I had to tighten the tension a little bit - and then it sewed perfectly. Those reels of thread do go a long way, the quilt is quite heavily quilted and I estimate I used less than half a reel. I will definitely be using for all my quilting from now on and I will use it when I piece my next quilt.

It is hard to see the quilting but your quilt still looks wonderful. I will look into aurifil. I don't even know what kind of thread I used. I just get what they tell me to at the quilt shop.

i love aurifil for piecing and quilting...it does run through the machine nicer and makes less lint...although the initial cost is higher i do love it...at my last quilt retreat i forgot black thread and some one gave me another brand...didn't like the thread at all went right back to aurifil
