Fires

Like most people in Australia today I can't stop thinking about the fires in Victoria over the weekend.
If you are looking for ways to help donating to the Red Cross seems the most effective (and easy)way to help at the moment.
I am also going to do some sewing. Rach has volunteered to collect clothes and The Toy Society is collecting handmade toys.

We've put the word out with the staff at school today and are going to support the Toy Society. Just a terrible weekend.

Thank you Kate for letting us know what we can do rather than just talking about it. You are amazing.

Hi Kate,

Thanks for your post! I'm also collecting books for a book drive, to be distributed in a couple of months (when people have somewhere to live, albeit temporarily). Please feel free to contact me if you would like to donate books: juddie1[at]optusnet[dot]com[dot]au>
