A quick scarf, cut out while talking to my sister on the phone.Using lots of small favourite bits of fabric including bits from Ink & Spindle, Kristen Doran and Pippijoe.
I cut some wool for the back about 7 inches by 56 inches and cut scraps of fabrics for the top 7 inches wide and various lengths. I sewed all the scraps together then sewed the top to the back leaving a gap. Turned it the right way out, ironed and then stitched around the edge. Finished.

so beautiful, yet simple - I love it!
It is beautiful Kate, might have to copy you. Melbourne weather is freezing at the moment!
Looks great Kate, I was thinking of making a scarf just this morning. Spooky!
Looks lovely.

Very lovely:)
I LOVE it! I'm slightly scarf mad at the moment so I'm sure you'll see something similar from me shortly ;) x
ooh freaky I'm about to make one of these for my sis before she comes to visit on Monday. I have an offcut of wool from a coat I have almost finished that I was going to use. Yours looks great.
I have been toying with a similar thing. Now I am good to go. Thak you! Great fabrics. How cool will we look with our one-of-a-kind scarves.
Beautiful project and I love the instant gratification factor! It really displays the gorgeous fabric designs well.
Kate, you must have read my mind! I have been keeping little scraps of my fav materials and wanted to do a scarf, but not sure how to put it all together... I guess that's the fun part, playing with materials.... Thanks for the inspiration! Lv Lee
