A quick scarf, cut out while talking to my sister on the phone.Using lots of small favourite bits of fabric including bits from Ink & Spindle, Kristen Doran and Pippijoe.
I cut some wool for the back about 7 inches by 56 inches and cut scraps of fabrics for the top 7 inches wide and various lengths. I sewed all the scraps together then sewed the top to the back leaving a gap. Turned it the right way out, ironed and then stitched around the edge. Finished.
so beautiful, yet simple - I love it!

ReplyDeleteKate, you must have read my mind! I have been keeping little scraps of my fav materials and wanted to do a scarf, but not sure how to put it all together... I guess that's the fun part, playing with materials.... Thanks for the inspiration! Lv Lee
