Socks

It is very quiet here. Amelia and Grace are at their grandparents house for a few nights and it is just us and Evie. My plan is to sew, dye and craft. Evie might have other plans.
A couple of pictures of finished socks.
This is a No Purl Monkey using my yarn. I just did one sock as a sample and will use the other half of the skein to do something different to show how my yarn knits up. Details on ravelry.

I'm wishing I had some of these on this cold night!

Oooh, they're both so pretty! I think it's interesting how the same pattern can have such a different look with a different yarn.

They look absolutely fabulous. Lovely colours and so well knitted. I so wish I could knit or crochet but I am totally crap. Which is such a shame as it would come in handy here in freezing Montreal. I've resigned myself to just buying knitted stuff from a great Canadian Etsy seller and concentrate on the stuff I am better at.

Oh they look wonderful Kate. I especially love the bottom color, very earthy with just a highlight of pink. I am sure after people see them knitted up they will buy them as it helps to see how the colors mix.
