I have 9 big blocks completed using the
quarter log cabin blocks. I was just going to put them together and quilt and bind, but I think they needed to be broken up a bit with a lighter colour. So I will add some sashing and a border and see if that helps.

I love these and the color combinations. I hope to get quilting again soon unless my daughter asks me to sew her something again. :)

I like the look of this Kate. I think breaking up the colours is a good idea with the sashing. It will bring the colours out more. Can't wait to see it done.
