And we are back. We spent a great few days down in Albany. The girls had a great time with their cousins and rode their bikes whenever they could. it was all pretty perfect until the last night when there was some vomiting, some more in the car on the way home and then some colds and croup. So another lazy day I think for all the children, while I dye yarn and sew diamonds together in preparation for
The Stitches and Craft Show. I am dyeing lace and sock yarn, mostly kettle dyed I think. I am embracing the unexpected results and surprises that you get from kettle dyeing at the moment.

Hope everyone is feeling brighter soon! Love the diamonds - Heather Bailey fabric is so bright and colourful.
Fingers crossed the colds leave quickly. The yarn dyeing intrigues me. Have you blogged about the process before? Would love to see how it is done xox
A pile of goodness to brighten the sickness! It's a wonder we ever survive their childhood.
Ick, vomiting and colds...that doesn't sound very nice.
Hopefully you all are feeling better. :)
Ooh! dying sock yarn! I bet it will come out so gorgeous!
Oh no, anything but the vomiting. We have bronchitis and yucky coughs here at the moment so a few early nights for me and lots of medicine and I will be better soon I hope. I love the diamonds too, HB fabric is just gorgeous and will certainly cheer you up. I hope they feel better soon.
