The neverending Chevron Scarf is nearly finished. It is blocking and just needs to dry. It seems like I have been knitting this forever and according to Ravelry I started it last July. The pattern is from Last Minute Knitted Gifts in the 'more than 8 hours category'. I won't argue with that. Mine took considerably more than 8 hours to knit.

It may have taken more than 8 hours but my word...it is one stunning piece. Gorgeous and well worth the time and effort!
OH SO GORGEOUS...
LOVE THE COLOUR AND REALLY AMAZING WORK...
It looks beautiful! And you were still quicker than me ;)
So pretty, Kate. I love the colours.
Kate, those colours are gorgeous! I tend to think that when the patterns are given a time, that you should double it. 'Cause the pattern makers dont usually have to answer to the call of their kids!!
And so worth every hour you spent on it! The wool is just beautiful.
Oooh, those colors are just gorgeous. You're so good to keep track in Ravelry. I have an account, but I always forget to check in.
So luscious! I'm working on the exact same project (in the same colors) now!
Did you have problems with "pooling"? For me, the navy bits always seem to be on the left side and the green bits on the right. So I'm switching needle sizes to help spread the color changes a bit. Is it just me?
The colours are really perfect!
gorgeous scarf! Love the colors.
Love it!! More pics please Kate! xox
I can see why it has taken more than 8 hours! It looks really gorgeous in the true sense of the word.
gorgeous colours. I am a bit of an anti blocker I would love to hear any blocking tips you have.
The colours are fabulous!Did you use your handspinned wool?
