Silk

Another dyeing experiment, lace weight silk/merino.

Hair Update: It has been 3 weeks now of no shampoo and conditioner. My hair has dramatically improved in the last 3 days. It was so awful I considered not leaving the house over the weekend. I washed it with baking soda on Sunday and it was so soft Monday and Tuesday. So hopefully it is goint to stay this way.

I overheard Grace saying this to Amelia on the weekend - "Milly you be Grace and I'll be Amelia" Hmm....

My favourite overhear when my two were litle was my girl telling her little brother 'Right, I'll be the big sister, you can be the little brother and Mum can be the mother'

Hee Hee they are probably already gearing up for playing tricks on people! And I started the baking soda vinegar thing last week and so far it's ok although it feels a little weird at times. Glad it's going ok for you.

Ooh how funny. I didnt realise twins did the swapping thing at such a young age. Love that gorgeous colored yarn too. Perhaps I will need to try that soon.

I wish I'd started the hair thing when I first read about it here...We've been without hot water for 4 weeks now so no-one around here would have noticed as we all look a bit greasy (although my neighbour may have thought something weird was going on if I left her shower smelling of apple cider vinegar!)

TWINS....how fascinating it must be to watch them growing up together.
