I've had and idea for a fish in my head for over a year, but it has always seemed a bit hard. Maybe it's because I have thought about it for so long that it actually wasn't.
Thanks for all your toilet training encouragement. I wish I had some hints for you. I few people said to be consistent and I think that is so true. As well as being patient. Something I am not good at, but I am trying and I am trying to encourge them. Also bribery. I know it is probably not the best thing, but they will do anything for dates ot tiny teddies.

He's a very cute fish. I'm with you on the bribery thing. I also think reward charts can work really well if the little ones are old enough to understand....each time they use the potty/toilet, they get a sticker and when they've got five/ten stickers, they get a little reward (play at the park, freddo frog, dates and tiny teddies...whatever works).
GOOD LUCK!!!
your fish is just beautiful. He has a really nice face.
I love it when the things in your head become the things in your hands. Well done on the fish, he is fantastic.
And I really don't envy you with the toilet training X2. You won't know yourself doing everything X1.
Oh my gosh he is so cute! I love his little fat face.
That fish is the rockinest fish softie ever !
The fish turned out so well. Bribery does work but I tried not to use sweets, and used a sticker chart instead. I suppose it depends on what your child loves doesnt it. You wont know yourself once you have less nappies to change.
Hey the fish looks great!
Oh Kate the fish looks gorgeous, something from "Finding Nemo".
Love those ties you do, so cute.
Love all the different fabrics too.
Good luck with another week of potty training.
Awww he's sooo cute!!!! :):) You are awesome!!!
I love the fish!
Your fish is great. I think the longer I think about something, the easier it is to make, too. It's almost if our brain figures out how to make it and goes through the process before we actually do it. How come that doesn't work for housekeeping?
ohhhh I luv this fish..... it rocks.... and your fabric choices are awesome as usual....
luv Abby
That's a great fish...looks cuddley. Your girls must be at an age to love all your work.
I love your fish, so cute and colourful. Good luck with the potty training and don't feel bad about a little bribery.

Excellent fish! or 'tish' as Thomas says.
Georgous fish and bag - love the circles! Good luck with that toilet training. It's just a hard time that I believe you have to live through. All kids are different but keep heart, it will get better.

The fish is amazing!I love your stuff!
I know toilet training seems to go on forever, hang in there.
This fish is darling!
(I know this is never what anyone wants to hear in regards to potty training, but with Jack, we just waited, and waited and waited some more. When he was ready, he did it all on his own, no "training" required. He was about 3 years, 3 months before that time came though. LOL)
I found your blog through Di's list, so I thought I would say hello. I love this fish.
Great fish!
This fish is another lovely creature from your hands! I love your bags too! I have so many bags, I'm a bag-addict, but still I'm considering buying one from you...
