A while ago I saw some great felted totes that Jennifer had made and was quite excited when she wrote up the pattern and was selling it on Etsy. Then I was even more excited when she wrote and said I'd won three skeins of Peace Fleece just for buying her pattern. It arrived this week, just when I needed some cheering up and Jennifer was so generous, lots of lovely fabric bits and the most wonderful skein from misshawklet.
There was also some fantastic washable markers for the girls. They did actually manage to draw on some paper too.
I was playing around with patterns last week and decided that putting a wombat's head on a koala's body might make a good dog. According to everyone else in the house it looks like a rabbit. And with the addition of some ears they were right.

Oh my!!! I'm glad you wrote it was washable... !!! Great decoration of the girls ;)
Do you sell softie patterns?
That's the most huggable looking bunny.

I am adoring your blog. I stumbled upon it one day and am so glad I did.... your animals are so cute and inspiring. I am wanting to make some for my kids too.
The girls look so cute -- boy, oh boy, are you going to have your hands full LOL!
Hee hee washing off texta is never fun but at least yours are washable ones. Isabelle used to always draw on her feet for some reason. Love the rabbit too, so cute. What are you going to make out of the wonderful yarn you received.
Love the wombat-koala-dog-rabbit! Hope a good soak in the bath was all it took to remove the pen - know from past experience that washable doesn't always mean washable but more likely "brillo pad-able". I've just stumbled across your blog and will be back.

oh dear keira got some of those crayola markers but they ended up all over here every time and the couch on one occassion so they're hiding for a while and the crayons came out again!
