I've always admired quilts with curves in them especially drunkard's path quilts but could never see myself making one. Until now. I've discovered the Curve Master Foot.
I can't believe this tiny little piece of plastic can make something so easy. These were done with no pins, not a single one. It did take a couple of tries to get it right, but once you get it, it is so easy to do.
It sounds like a bit of magic to me. They look great.
ReplyDeletewow your curves turned out so nice....haha that was a funny sentence to type!
ReplyDeleteI may just end up getting one of those attachments. Ive seen the site before, but after seeing your results I am convinced. Now I just need to convince my husband that I really do need this
Kate, your blog always makes me drool! So, so gorgeous. I have given you an Aw-summ award over at my blog if you chose to accept it! :) x Amanda

Sounds intriguing - anything to make curves easier must be a winner.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, had seen it before but hadn't seen anyone use it. Maybe a late mothers day gift!! Again Kate, great work!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I can't even sew in a straight line let alone in a curved one!! Looking forward to seeing the quilt!
ReplyDeleteyour curves look cool ;-) I seriously try and avoid curves altogether! So when I start to attempt curves I'll return to your site for a closer inspection of that foot!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try one of these quilts. I didn't realise there was a special foot to help with it.
ReplyDeleteCurves are something I've been building up to also, so thanks for the foot tip. I'm fascinated by all the variations of the Drunkard's path.
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLove drunkard's path. I have a template but only played a long time ago. How awesome there is a foot to help with the curves! Can't wait to see what you make.
