Everglade Mini Quilt

I've finished my Everglade blocks. I'm not sure if it will end up as a mini quilt or a big pillow. I loved sewing these blocks and I'm already onto my next appliqué project!

    I'm interested to know how you approach fabric selection (colour and pattern). Have you particular inspirations or references? I really like the eclectic fabric choices and it's match-matchy, samey. How do do you make it work?
