You do manage to come away with odd things from IKEA sometimes. These beads however are probably the best impulse buy I have made there. Great for rainy days, hours of amusement and they can do it by themselves. I just have to do the ironing to melt the beads together at the end.
So fun! I remember going to my Grandma's house over summer break and making her all kinds of these, adding magnets to the back and she would put them on her fridge. :) I need to go to Ikea to get this! Among other things!

ReplyDeleteJust like Hama beads! We have been doing them too at our house, although the making has mostly been driven by the 25 year old.
ReplyDeleteYay!~ I have a friend who has a complete obsession with these. Hama beads are the original and they make all sorts of shaped peg-boards which the ikea beads also fit onto - they have fantastic inspiration books (very cheap) that show you how to make all sorts of amazing things - christmas decorations, cartoon faces. brilliant stuff. I know Lincraft stocks them - but I think you can get them all over the place really!
