There has been less crafting this week and more baking due to the arrival of this! No pictures of the cupcakes and the blue velvet cake based on this recipe. Cake presentation is not my strong point, but they were all eaten fast so they must have been delicious.
And with it came the perfect size box for Evie to be happy in all day.
A Red Kitchen aid - how lovely!! I love all the delicious colours it comes in - choosing the colour was the hardest part (mine is Ice Blue). It is one of those things that once you have one, you wondered how you did without it. Enjoy your baking.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate..I am curious..a blue velvet cake? Please post the recipe!
ReplyDeleteA kitchenaid mixer has been on my wishlist forever :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on yours.
Lucky, lucky you! That's the one appliance at the top of my wish list!! Just wondering where you got it from as I know the prices can vary quite a bit...
ReplyDeleteSo if I get my food processor can I post the empty box to Evie? teehee
ReplyDeleteLucky you. I desire a lime green one. Empty boxes make the best toys!
ReplyDeleteoohhh spoilt you!
ReplyDeleteOooh, you lucky girl -- she's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteI have the exact same one. My husband bought it from DJs in Oz and I run it on a transformer here. I tell you they are so cheap here in Canada it completely amazes me. I've seen them for $215 at Costco. I must stock up on all the accessories before I move back to Australia.
ReplyDeleteLuscious red! Mine is navy - didn't choose the colour otherwise it would have been green to match my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThe empty box looks fun!
Oh Kate....you lucky duck!!!
ReplyDeleteLove to have one in my black@white kitchen that could just be the splash of colour it needs.
Happy baking, great weather for a warm cozy kitchen. Hugs Sandra
I also got a red one & the kids had fun playing in the box!! Where did you get yours from?
ReplyDeleteOhhh a red mixer! How fabulous!! Hope you have lots of fun baking!!

How wonderfully pretty your mixer is - almost as if it doesn't have to have a real function to be admired ;)
ReplyDeleteI always find it wonderful that little people like boxes more than the toys that come inside them...
Enjoy mixing!
One word. Jealous.
