There has been lots of driving this week (and promises to ourselves that the driving at Christmas has to stop) and it is not over yet. Chris and I have been making Christmas playlists for the car consisting of non traditional Christmas music. This has been our favourite Christmas song this year.
The house packing has started. The panic is setting in. I don't think pictures of packing boxes will interest anyone so I will be back if there is any craft to show.
I heard this for the first time yesterday. Loved it. Plus it is one of Dr. Who's (David Tennant)favourite top seven songs that he would take to a desert island.
ReplyDeleteshould you find a solution to the driving at christmas please let me know...i think it has something to do with living in such a vast country...would love to see your christmas play list.....p.s. i managed to convince jock to go to laneway festival!1!yay!1!
ReplyDeleteI love Tim Minchin. I hadn't heard this song, it is fab. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard this - I love it and Tim Minchin and just secretly david tenant as well....ok and Mr banshee too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move guys!
oh that was lovely! you know I swam at the beach with him, his infant daughter and wife last year. he is such a lovely unasuming guy. We were swimming along and I realised it was him and he said hi first! so sweet, looks different without his eye liner :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Tim Minchim, good choice. Personally we down load pod casts of Hamish & Andy as all our children are in primary school now aged almost 6 to almost 11 so they laugh with us. Did you catch the documentary on Tim in Scotland?? Very interesting, he seems to have a lovely wife. Happy travels!!
ReplyDeleteOh, you're going to love this tip - i have the children draw pictures onto white cotton, put them in embroidery hoops & they do embroidery in the car. We might look Amish but hell, they love it. I am on standby to re-thread needles or change colours, but from about age 4 it's an ace project. Love Posie
