Red Polka Dots

A needed a skirt for Christmas. I seem to have quite a collection of fabric with red spots and it is as close to wearing something 'Christmassy' as I am going to get.
Made with some help from Sew What! Skirts.

Another Simplicity 3835. A quick and easy top for warm weather which is something we have not seen this summer. More rain and grey clouds yesterday - enough to make the roof leak.

  1. Love the skirt. The spotted fabric makes it just perfect! I wish I liked to sew clothes. Oh well...I can't dress up in my new quilts now can I?

I love that skirt!! How would you rate that book, Sew What! Skirts?? I have been eyeing it off for awhile now but I guess I am waiting for a testimonial from someone I know before I buy. :D That top is beautiful too!! Funnily enough I saw one with a similar print and style no more than an hour ago.
