This dyeing thing is becoming addictive. I dyed some green and pink (it isn't quite as vibrant as the picture). Kind of a mistake as I ran out of green dye and I didn't write down how I made it so I left some white.
It was a good mistake though as I reskeined it and I love it.
We have managed to get out of the house the last 2 days and we all feel much better for it. I joined the gym which is the best thing. The girls love the creche and I get an hour with no one screaming at me. I went yesterday and I managed to work my new ipod and not fall off the back of the treadmill. I was pretty impressed with myself.
Amazing the difference skeining makes - I like it too.
ReplyDeleteAnd well done on the gym thing :)
AAhh funny! I can just imagine myself falling off - so well done Kate!
ReplyDeleteI love the new skein - you have to know that pink and green should always be seen (my favourite colours!!)
Have a great weekend, Kathryn.
that wool went from "ok" to "wow" after the skeining. A gym....sounds good, no one screaming at you for an hour....sounds even better!
ReplyDeletelovely colours!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great an hour without screaming..although after that you will still be tyred!
LOVE the wool, nice work, I can't wait to see it in action!
ReplyDeleteAs for an hour without screaming kids.... BLISS!!!
Lovely yarn! It makes me wish I could knit!

lol! You can do the treadmill without falling off the back? I am impressed!!! Your kids must be excellent. I joined a gym when my first 2 were young and they hated the creche. The bad part was that it was immediately under the room I exercised in, so all of my exercising was done to their screams! But I was determined to do it, so I listened to their screams!
ReplyDeleteAmazing colors! I like those very much. It´s good that you had some free time =)
ReplyDeleteKate, I have an award for you on my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteTee hee! Great about the working out. And I know how you feel about the treadmill...those things scare me every time I get on one...I have this vision of me going backwards. Great yarn! You cannot beat pink and green...as far as I am concerned that wins all the time. I have a green toenail polish that would match that superbly :)
ReplyDeleteThat yarn is so pretty!
