I think my nesting might consist of sewing rather than cleaning. I really could do with the desire to clean and organise. Instead I feel the need to make a cot quilt for the baby.
I still have a huge pile of half finished bags and toys on my work table. I'm slowly managing to finish them as the girls build train tracks near me.
I wouldn't worry about the cleaning and organising if I were you. You may as well do what you love and be as self indulgent as possible before the little one arrives! Love the bright colours you have used on the cot quilt.
ReplyDeletesew now or forever hold your piece (of fabric...)!
ReplyDeletelove the cot quilt - i love big-block quilts!

ReplyDeleteThe quilt is looking great and I love the fish! I too wouldn't worry about the cleaning - there will be plenty of time for it!!
ReplyDeleteKate I always love the fabrics you use. I'm sure your home looks bright and cheery even if there has been no house work done. The new bub won't notice, I promise.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute!

Gorgeous quilt! Don't worry about the cleaning. It will wait for you....
ReplyDeleteI also had the sewing-nesting bug. Mind you I also had a thing about scrubbing the floors on my hands and knees. That, I am pleased, to say has passed... Now I have the hardley-ever-scrub-the-floors bug...
ReplyDeleteLove the hippo! Can only guess at the amount of stuffing that involved!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I love the little hippo (if that's what he is), he is a cuttie! you are looking great and all the best with organising for the little one!
