Circles

For those that were wondering, the pockets and circles are part of a bag. It's finally finished.

While I was on a roll with the circles I thought I'd try a butterfly. Mmm, it's got a few good points, but still needs some work.
I needed to make something bright - toilet training 2 children was starting to take it's toll yesterday. We've had a better morning, so hopefully we are making some progress.

  2. Gorgeous bag. I love the contrast of the black with the bright circles...and that butterfly is the sweetest. Chloe just asked me yesterday if I could make her a butterfly. And now seeing how sweet yours looks, I might give it a go. We've already copied your little monster and made one for Will. He saw it on your blog the other day and asked me if I could make him one. I really hope you don't mind!!!

  4. Ooh the bag looks great Kate. The butterfly looks cute too. Good luck with the toilet training. We used to put a little chart on the fridge with special stickers for every time our kids went and it helped as Isabelle loved stickers and she was trained in 2 weeks.

  5. I was wondering what the circles were for... Love the bag!!! I've just started with the toilet training... Not sure if I'm starting too early but my little princess started to notice when she was going to the toilet so I thought I'd give it a go... Any pointers on what I should do???

  10. Love the bag. Hmm... toilet training! No. 1 was easy and I thought "I'm so good at this!" No. 2 was a nightmare! I just couldn't figure what I was doing wrong. So I just kept putting nappies on. One day (when she was 3!) she said, "I don't wear nappies anymore." Riiiiiight!!! And she never wore nappies again, with no accidents. I thought "That was easy!" so I waited for the other 6 to say that they didn't want to wear nappies anymore. Most of them quit nappies when they were 2. And I was a lot less stressed!

Hang in there Kate! I know it's really difficult especially when you are pregnant and trying to train 2 toddlers at the same time (!) But I think consistency is the key and very soon the concept of going to the potty will suddenly 'click' with your girls and it will get a whole lot easier.

I really like the how the circles on the bag 'pop out' at you and the butterfly is so sweet.
