The weather in Albany has definitely warmed up now. Unfortunately we are back home. The girls didn't want to let a bit of wind, rain or cold to spoil their holiday so we still went to the beach. They built sand castles, collected shells, did a little swimming and then played at the playground.Once you build sand castles you have to knock them down.
We looked after my niece for the weekend. A little taste of what it is going to be like to have three. The holidays are nearly over. Chris is back to work next week - I can see the girls and I being a bit sad on Tuesday.
Kids dont care about what the weather is like at the beach, as long as they can run around and swim and play in the sand. They are such cute photos, and your niece looks so cute too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun was had by all! Why let a bit of weather spoil it?!
ReplyDeleteReally sweet pics.
I'll be a bit sad too as I have to go back to school on Tuesday and off we go again for another year.
ReplyDeleteLovely white sand on that beach. It looks like you had a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteIts always a bit sad when the Dad / husband goes back to work.
The boys are off to school on Wednesday - I'll probably shed a tear!
oh, looks likse so much fun. especially since it is five degrees over here!
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures! Glad the weather didn't get in your way.
ReplyDeleteLove how the guys are the builders, I hope they let the girls have a go.
ReplyDeleteWere you girls sitting back reading books, sipping drinks, relaxing? Or just behind the camera.
You niece looks the complete opposite to your girls, they got the curly hair and hers in dead straight. I'm sure they will be wishing they could swap when they are olders.
Hugs Fiona
Brings back happy memories of a childhood spent in Scotland - windbreaks on the beach, parents wrapped in travelling rugs whilst we play happily round about!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you had a good holiday!
