It's raining again - the clothes were nearly dry on the line too. They are all hanging inside now. I'm afraid the girls think we live in a laundry.
There is nothing like a friend giving birth to stop you procrastinating. I had been promising to make her a bag that would go over her shoulders for ages and it's finally done. I used a red corduroy on the outside and a cotton on the inside. This one has an inside pockets and an outside one that I divided into two with yes more bias binding on top of the pocket.
More platypuses - they are always fun to make.
The bag is great and the platypus as cute as ever! It's pretty much been raining here all summer! Think it's officially the worst summer in ages - 2 picnics (and one of them was in April) and 1 BBQ only - that's the true measure of summer!
ReplyDeleteIt has finally stopped raining here! Love the corduroy bag - gorgeous rich colour.

I love the red corduroy bag, and I am sure your friend will love using it too. The platypus are cute too. We had rain last night here too, and the washing that was left on the line will now have to be taken off later this afternoon when it dries again.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about living in a laundry. My dining room is absolutely chockas with wet clothes.
