Knitting Needle Roll

Inspired by my success with my sewing case I thought I'd make a dpn case and use my new found love of bias binding - and it worked! I made enough slots to fit all my sock needles in plus a slot for scissors, tape measure and knitting needle gauge. Slowly everything is finding its own place in my craft area and hopefully I'll be able to find what I need without searching through every box first.

  3. Wow! I've just loved a look over your blog. Your work is just so gorgeous!! I'm sitting here knitting a sock with three dpn's and one knitting needle that I had to attack with a pencil sharpener. **sigh** hehe (twins'll do that to ya) Ruth

  4. It's beautiful! A needle roll is on my long list of things to do -- which is silly, 'cause I don't really think it would take too long if I'd just get to it! Now you're all organized!

  5. Kate - I think this is great - it inspires me to give sewing a go and attempt something like this myself for my needles

  6. What a fabulous needle roll. I think I shall have to make myself one for all my sock needles as they always end up everywhere. Love the denim and blues too.

What a lovely knitting needle roll - so pretty and organised too. The skirts you made for the girls recently are amazing too.

  14. Hey, that is such a great idea. All my knitting needles live in either a) a big pile in the bottom of the knitting drawer, b) a big pile in the bottom of the knitting bag or c) under the couch. I wish I was so organised!!
Lovely fabric and colour combo too on the koala. Beautiful!
