Chris finished his first marathon today! He completed it in just under his goal of 5 and a half hours. I am completely impressed and even more so as he is still walking (well kind of) and talking.
Congratulations to Chris! I am impressed! It was certainly a weekend for races/marathons! I ran the Race for Life today (a measly 5km - 3.2 miles) but I did it in 28 minutes so I was quite pleased and my friend Julia completed the Moonwalk in London last night - it is a midnight start walking marathon for Breast Cancer and everyone has to wear a decorated bra and spend the night walking around London! Julia completed it in an impressive 6 hours and 8 mins!!
Has Chris said yet weather he wants to do another marathon?
I just have to agree with melissa...what a legend! Where was the marathon?....I have run the Sydney and Melbourne and am looking for another new challenge....well, maybe, if my knees ever get over this half!
Great job! I've always wanted to do a tri marathon but I can't ride a bike very well. I used to be in much better shape but now with the kids I'm just a big lazy blob!
Well done Chris, you must be so proud of your hubby.
